WiGig (802.11ad)is a wireless standard developed by the Wireless Gigabit Alliance and it’s designed to have significantly faster wireless network speeds. It will be available on consumer devices beginning this year. While it will not be replacing WiFi completely due to it’s extremely short range we will definitely see it in use for local networks replacing some of the network backbone. Apple has released Security Update 2016-001 for OS X El Capitan users. It introduces crucial security fixes to the operating system. They have also issued Security Update 2016-005 for OS X Yosemite users. It will protect against the exact vulnerability that was discovered in iOS last week.
To update your system on OS X go to App Store > Updates > and install the security update that is shown for your system. If you are using Mavericks or Yosemite a Safari update is available for you.

Cue the ability to sync Cortana between your phone and computer running the Anniversary update of Windows 10.
